Geriatric Joint Relief: Alleviate Stiffness and Pain

Geriatric Joint Stiffness 13: LI1, GB7, Ha2, GV20, La10

(Joint stiffness, Reduced mobility, Mild pain, Fatigue)

This recipe uses LI1 (Shangyang) for finger and Qi, GB7 (Qubin) for head and joints, Ha2 (Sibai) for facial symptoms, GV20 (Baihui) to uplift Qi, and La10 (Fubai) for head and joints. It supports mobility. Contraindications: Avoid Ha2 near eyes.

BioCoherence Meditation

As you continue to settle into your meditation, bring your awareness to the flow of energy within your body. Imagine the gentle warmth of vitality circulating through your joints, easing stiffness and promoting mobility.

Visualize the acupuncture point LI1, located at the outer edge of your index finger, just beneath the nail. This point, known as Shangyang, is associated with the fingers and helps to invigorate Qi, enhancing your dexterity and overall energy levels.

Next, focus on GB7, positioned at the side of your head, just above the ear. This point, called Qubin, connects to the head and joints, aiding in the release of tension and supporting a sense of freedom in movement.

Now, shift your attention to Ha2, found at the center of your cheek, near the upper jaw. Known as Sibai, this point addresses facial symptoms, promoting relaxation and alleviating discomfort.

Bring your awareness to GV20, located at the crown of your head. Baihui, as it is called, uplifts Qi, enhancing your sense of clarity and vitality, grounding you in the present moment.

Finally, visualize La10, located on your wrist, just above the thumb. Fubai is its name, and it serves to harmonize the head and joints, facilitating a smooth flow of energy throughout these areas.

As you visualize each point, imagine the energy flowing freely, dissolving any stiffness, fatigue, and mild pain. Allow your breath to deepen, feeling the connection between each point and the corresponding areas of your body. Sense the balance restoring within you, bringing you to a perfect state of ease and natural movement.

In this state of deep relaxation, continue to breathe in tranquility and exhale any tension. Feel each joint becoming more fluid, each muscle letting go of stiffness, and your entire being harmonizing with the rhythm of life. Embrace this moment of healing and restoration, allowing it to transform any discomfort into ease and grace.
