Post-COVID Respiratory Relief: Ease Breathing and Cough

This recipe uses PE4 (Ximen) to regulate chest and emotions, ST10 (Shuitu) for neck and Qi, Hy3 (Juliao) for facial symptoms, GV10 (Lingtai) to regulate spine, and TV6 (Zhongzhu) for lower abdomen. It reduces cough and fatigue. Contraindications: Avoid Hy3 near face; use caution with GV10 in back conditions.

As you continue to relax, bring awareness to the acupuncture points associated with the Post-COVID Respiratory 18 recipe, designed to alleviate shortness of breath, chronic cough, chest tightness, and fatigue. Visualize PE4, located on the inner forearm, about two fingerbreadths from the wrist crease. This point, known as Ximen, helps regulate the chest and emotions, promoting a sense of calm and balance. Next, focus on ST10, found at the side of the neck, just below the Adam's apple. This point, Shuitu, is vital for enhancing the flow of Qi and supports respiratory health. Now, turn your attention to Hy3, located at the side of the face, just below the cheekbone. Juliao addresses facial symptoms but should be approached with caution, avoiding direct pressure near the face. Shift your awareness to GV10, situated along the spine, between the shoulder blades. Known as Lingtai, this point helps regulate spinal health and can ease tension in the upper body. Finally, connect with TV6, located on the lower abdomen, about one thumb's width from the navel. Zhongzhu supports the lower body and aids in reducing fatigue and cough. As you visualize these points, breathe deeply. Imagine each point lighting up with positive energy, harmonizing the organs they influence, and restoring balance to the body. Allow this energy to flow freely, easing any tightness or discomfort.
