Gout Relief: Reduce Pain and Swelling Naturally

This recipe uses SP9 to clear damp-heat, LI11 to reduce inflammation, ST44 to clear heat, GB34 (Yanglingquan) to relax tendons, and BL60 (Kunlun) to relieve pain. It alleviates gout attacks. Contraindications: Use caution with BL60 in ankle conditions.

Focus your awareness on the areas of discomfort in your body, particularly around the joints. As you breathe deeply, visualize the acupuncture points that will aid in alleviating your gout symptoms.

Begin with SP9, located just below the knee on the inner side of the leg. This point helps clear damp-heat from the body, promoting balance and harmony. Imagine a warm, golden light radiating from this point, dissolving any heaviness and swelling.

Next, bring your attention to LI11, found at the outer elbow crease. This point is known for its ability to reduce inflammation. Visualize a cool, soothing wave washing over your joints, calming inflammation and restoring clarity and ease.

Move your focus to ST44, located on the foot, between the second and third toes. This point clears heat and helps in reducing pain. Picture a gentle stream flowing from this point, carrying away heat and discomfort, leaving behind coolness and relief.

Shift your awareness to GB34, also known as Yanglingquan, located below the knee on the outer side of the leg. This point relaxes tendons and muscles. Envision a softening sensation spreading through your legs, allowing tension to release and your joints to feel free and flexible.

Finally, concentrate on BL60, located behind the ankle bone. This point is effective for relieving pain. As you focus here, imagine a wave of soothing energy enveloping your ankle, easing any pain and discomfort. Be mindful to stay aware of any sensations in this area, using caution if you feel any strain.

As you breathe, visualize these points working in harmony, each contributing to the balance of your body. Envision the dampness and heat dissipating, inflammation reducing, and pain transforming into lightness. Allow this healing energy to flow freely through your joints, restoring them to their natural state of health and vitality. With each breath, feel your body becoming lighter and more at ease, as you embrace this state of balance and well-being.
