Angina Pectoris: Relief for Chest Pain and Palpitations

Angina Pectoris: PC6, CV17, HT7, BL15, LU9

This recipe uses PC6 to open chest, CV17 to regulate chest Qi, HT7 to calm heart, BL15 to soothe heart, and LU9 to support lung-heart connection. It relieves angina. Contraindications: Use caution with CV17 in heart conditions.

As you continue to breathe deeply and relax, bring your awareness to the area of your chest. Visualize the acupuncture points that will guide you towards balance and ease.

First, locate PC6, also known as Neiguan. This point is found on the inner forearm, about two finger widths above the wrist crease, between the two tendons. Imagine this point opening your chest, allowing energy to flow freely.

Next, focus on CV17, located at the center of your chest, where the breastbone meets. Visualize this point regulating the Qi of your chest, harmonizing your breathing and emotions.

Now, shift your attention to HT7, or Shenmen, found on the wrist crease, on the pinky side. Picture this point calming your heart, soothing any feelings of anxiety or palpitations.

Move to BL15, located on your back, between the shoulder blades, just to the left of the spine. Envision this point nurturing your heart, promoting a sense of peace and comfort.

Finally, visualize LU9, found at the wrist crease on the thumb side. Let this point strengthen the connection between your lungs and heart, ensuring that they work in harmony, supporting each other.

As you hold these points in your mind, breathe in deeply, filling your chest with warmth and light. As you exhale, release any tension or discomfort. Feel the energy circulating through these points, harmonizing your heart and chest.

Imagine a gentle wave of relaxation washing over you, easing tightness and pain. Allow your heart to express its natural rhythm, steady and calm. With each breath, feel the connection between your heart and lungs growing stronger, fostering a sense of vitality and health.
