As you continue to relax, bring your awareness to the specific acupuncture points that support recovery from respiratory challenges.First, locate SI8, known as Xiaohai, situated on the inner elbow crease. This point aids in harmonizing Qi and alleviating discomfort in the upper body, enhancing your breath's ease.
Next, gently focus on ST40, or Fenglong, located on the lower leg, about two finger widths to the outside of the shinbone. This point is vital for clearing phlegm, allowing for a clearer passage of breath and alleviating cough.
Now, turn your attention to TV13, known as Tianshu, found on the lower abdomen, just below the navel. This area supports the energy of the lower body, grounding you and promoting a sense of stability and comfort.
Then, visualize GV14, or Dazhui, which lies at the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades. This powerful point enhances immunity, fortifying your body against challenges. However, be mindful to avoid this point if you are pregnant.
Lastly, focus on Hy4, known as Dicang, located near the corners of the mouth. This point addresses facial symptoms and promotes overall well-being.
As you visualize these points, imagine their energy harmonizing within your body, easing shortness of breath, reducing cough, and releasing chest tightness. Picture the Qi flowing freely, filling you with vitality and support.
Breathe deeply, allowing each inhalation to draw in healing energy and each exhalation to release tension and fatigue. Trust in this natural process of recovery, feeling your body return to its perfect, balanced state. Embrace the tranquility and strength that comes with each breath. Allow this healing energy to settle within you, nurturing and revitalizing your entire being.
