Focus on the sensations in your body, particularly where there may be discomfort or swelling. As you breathe deeply, visualize the acupuncture points that will support your healing.Locate ST36, situated about four fingerbreadths below the kneecap, on the outer part of your shin. This point is connected to your stomach and spleen, helping to boost your energy and improve circulation, essential for recovery.
Next, find GB34, located just below the outer knee, in the hollow of the leg. This point relaxes the tendons and supports the gallbladder, promoting flexibility and easing tension in the affected area.
Move your attention to BL60, located behind the ankle bone. This point is powerful for relieving pain and tension, but be mindful if there is existing ankle injury. It aids in energizing the bladder and alleviating discomfort.
Now, focus on SP9, found on the inner side of the leg, just below the knee. This point helps to resolve dampness and is linked to the spleen, assisting in reducing swelling and promoting fluid balance in your body.
Lastly, visualize LR3, located on the top of the foot, in the webbing between the first and second toes. This point calms the liver and promotes the smooth flow of energy, helping to relieve stress and tension that may contribute to pain.
As you visualize these points, imagine a warm, healing light radiating from each location, gently dissolving pain and swelling. With each breath, draw in energy and healing, allowing it to flow through these points and nourish your body.
Picture the energy moving from ST36 to GB34, releasing tension, then flowing to BL60 to alleviate pain, followed by SP9 resolving any dampness, and finally LR3 soothing your spirit and restoring balance.
Allow this process to unfold naturally. With every exhale, release any discomfort or heaviness, letting it dissipate into the air. With each inhale, invite healing and rejuvenation, feeling your body return to its perfect state of balance and ease.
