This recipe uses SP9 to resolve damp, ST36 to boost Qi, LI11 to clear heat, KI6 (Zhaohai) to nourish Yin, and CV9 (Shuifen) to regulate water. It reduces lymphatic swelling. Contraindications: Use caution with CV9 in abdominal conditions.

Bring your awareness to the flow of energy within your body. Picture the acupuncture points that will guide you toward balance and healing.

First, locate SP9, situated just below the knee on the inner leg. This point helps to resolve dampness, clearing stagnation and promoting fluid movement. Visualize a gentle light emanating from SP9, washing away heaviness and swelling in your limbs.

Now, shift your focus to ST36, located about four finger widths below the kneecap, on the outer side of your leg. This point boosts your Qi, invigorating your energy and enhancing your overall vitality. Imagine a warm, golden energy rising from ST36, filling your body with strength and lightness.

Next, find LI11, located at the outer elbow crease. This point clears heat from your body, helping to alleviate discomfort and inflammation. Envision a cool, soothing breeze flowing from LI11, calming any irritations and restoring balance.

Bring your attention to KI6, found just above the inner ankle. This point nourishes Yin, supporting your body's fluids and promoting harmony. Picture a gentle, nurturing wave of energy from KI6, enveloping your limbs and fostering a sense of calm and stability.

Finally, visualize CV9, located on the midline of the abdomen, slightly below the navel. This point regulates water in the body, helping to manage fluid retention. As you focus on CV9, imagine a soft, radiant light spreading through your lower abdomen, harmonizing your body's water balance. However, maintain awareness of your body's signals and use this point with caution if you sense any discomfort.

As you hold these points in your mind, breathe deeply and allow their energies to flow through you. With each inhalation, draw in vitality and healing; with each exhalation, release any heaviness or discomfort. Trust in your body's ability to restore itself to a state of harmony.

Feel the interconnectedness of these points, each one supporting the others in your journey towards balance. Visualize the swelling in your limbs gradually dissipating, replaced by a lightness and ease of movement.
