Healing Ulcerative Colitis: Natural Remedies for Pain

This recipe uses ST25 to regulate intestines, CV6 to tonify Qi, ST37 for large intestine, SP9 to clear damp, and BL25 to support intestines. It treats ulcerative colitis. Contraindications: Use caution with CV6 in abdominal conditions.

Allow your awareness to settle into your body as you focus on the key acupuncture points that support healing from ulcerative colitis.

First, envision ST25, located on the lower abdomen, two finger breadths from the navel, on either side. This point regulates the intestines, helping to restore balance and ease discomfort.

Next, bring your attention to CV6, situated in the midline of the abdomen, about one and a half inches below the navel. This point is vital for tonifying Qi, the life force that energizes and nourishes your body, promoting overall vitality and strength.

Now, visualize ST37, found on the lower leg, two finger breadths from the outer edge of the knee cap, in the muscle. This point is related to the large intestine, assisting in clearing waste and supporting healthy digestion.

Turn your focus to SP9, located just below the knee on the inner side of the leg, in the depression. This point helps clear dampness from the body, alleviating bloating and discomfort that may accompany inflammation.

Finally, concentrate on BL25, positioned on your lower back, at the level of the lower spine and near the outer edge. This point supports the intestines, enhancing their function and strength.

As you visualize these points, imagine a warm, healing light surrounding each area, gently soothing and restoring balance to your digestive system. Picture this light penetrating deeply, harmonizing the flow of energy and promoting healing.

With each breath, allow this healing energy to flow freely through your body, releasing tension and discomfort. As you breathe in, draw in vitality and strength; as you exhale, let go of pain and inflammation.

Maintain this visualization, nurturing these points with your breath and intention, until you feel a sense of calm and wholeness throughout your being.
