Focus your attention on the five acupuncture points that will support your respiratory health and overall vitality.First, locate LU7, found on the inner forearm, about two inches above the wrist crease. This point opens the lungs, allowing for easier breathing and relief from cough. Visualize a warm light emanating from this area, expanding your lung capacity and clearing any congestion.
Next, bring your awareness to BL13, situated on your back, about two finger widths from the spine at the level of your lower back. This point strengthens the lungs, fortifying your respiratory system. Imagine a protective shield forming around your lungs, enhancing your ability to resist infections.
Now, shift your focus to LI4, located on the back of your hand, in the webbing between your thumb and index finger. This point is known for boosting immunity. Envision a vibrant energy flowing from this point, circulating throughout your body, empowering your immune system to fight off any invaders.
Next, find ST36, located just below your knee, about four finger widths down and one finger width to the outside of your shinbone. This point enhances vitality and overall strength. Picture a grounding energy rising from the earth through this point, infusing your entire being with resilience and vigor.
Lastly, concentrate on CV22, located in the center of your throat, just above the collarbone. This point clears the throat and promotes ease in breathing. Visualize a gentle breeze sweeping through your throat, dissolving any tightness or discomfort, allowing for smooth and effortless communication.
As you hold the awareness of these points, take a deep breath in, feeling the energy from LU7 filling your lungs. Exhale slowly, releasing any tension or discomfort. Inhale again, drawing in strength from BL13, fortifying your respiratory system. Exhale, letting go of any fear of illness.
Continue this cycle, breathing in the empowering energy from LI4, feeling your defenses strengthen with each breath. Exhale any doubts or negativity. Inhale the vitality from ST36, letting it fill your entire being. Exhale, releasing fatigue.
Finally, draw in the clarity from CV22, allowing your throat to open and your voice to flow freely. Exhale, feeling a sense of calm and openness.
As you continue to breathe deeply, visualize the harmonious balance of your respiratory system returning to its natural state. Envision your body as a vibrant ecosystem, resilient and capable of restoring health. Allow this energy to settle within you, knowing that you are supported in your recovery and well-being.
