Focus your awareness on the body and the soothing energy of the acupuncture points that support your sleep.Begin with HT7, located on the wrist, just above the crease on the side of the little finger. This point calms the heart, easing anxiety and helping to soothe racing thoughts. Visualize a warm, gentle light radiating from HT7, filling your heart with tranquility and peace.
Next, bring your attention to PC6, found on the inner forearm, about two inches from the wrist crease, between the two tendons. This point regulates emotions and promotes harmony within. Imagine a soft wave washing over you, smoothing out emotional turbulence, allowing you to feel balanced and centered.
Now, move to LR3, located on the top of the foot, in the valley between the first and second toes. This point helps to soothe the liver, releasing any pent-up stress and tension. Visualize a calming breeze flowing through your body, releasing any frustration or irritability, leaving you feeling light and free.
Shift your focus to KI6, positioned just below the inner ankle bone. This point nourishes Yin and supports deep, restorative sleep. Envision a nurturing light enveloping your entire being, replenishing your energy and inviting serenity into your body.
Lastly, direct your awareness to GV24, located at the center of the forehead, just above the bridge of the nose. This point calms the mind and helps with clarity. Picture a gentle illumination at this point, clearing away any mental clutter and inviting a sense of stillness.
As you visualize these points and their calming effects, take a deep breath in, allowing the energy from each point to blend harmoniously within you. Exhale slowly, releasing any worries or restlessness. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more grounded and relaxed, as the energy flows freely, supporting your sleep maintenance.
Continue to breathe deeply, feeling a sense of balance and peace wash over you, nurturing your mind and body for a restful night ahead.
