As you continue to relax, bring your awareness to the acupuncture points that support mental health, particularly in addressing OCD, phobias, grief, and anxiety.Imagine TH9, located on the side of your neck, just below the ear. This point, known as Sidu, helps regulate the throat and Qi, facilitating clear expression and emotional release. Visualize a warm light radiating from this point, soothing any tension and allowing your voice to flow freely.
Next, focus on KI17, situated on your abdomen, about two fingerbreadths above the navel. This point, known as Shangqu, nourishes Yin and supports emotional stability. Envision a gentle, nurturing energy emanating from this area, grounding you and fostering a sense of inner strength and calm.
Now, shift your attention to Ha7, located at the inner corner of your eye. This point, Jingming, is associated with clarity and vision. Although its use must be approached with caution, visualize it as a source of brightness and insight, illuminating your mind while maintaining a sense of safety and comfort.
Bring your awareness to GV3, found in the lower back, between the hip bones. Known as Yaoyangguan, this point strengthens the lower back and supports overall vitality. Picture a warm, stabilizing energy flowing from this area, anchoring you and providing a solid foundation for emotional resilience.
Lastly, focus on Ly6, located on the inner side of your forearm, about one handbreadth above the wrist. This point, Jiaoxin, calms emotions and promotes tranquility. Imagine a soothing wave of peace washing over you, calming your mind and easing any lingering fears or anxieties.
As you breathe deeply, feel the synergy of these points harmonizing your mental and emotional state. Allow the energy to flow freely through your body, balancing any disturbances and guiding you back to a state of perfect equilibrium. Embrace the natural healing process, trusting that you are nurturing your mental health with each inhalation and exhalation.
