This recipe uses ST36 to boost Qi, SP6 to nourish blood, BL17 to invigorate blood, KI3 to tonify marrow, and CV6 (Qihai) to tonify energy. It aids anaemia associated with myelodysplastic syndrome. Contraindications: Avoid SP6 in pregnancy.

As you settle into your meditation, bring your awareness to the acupuncture points that will support your journey towards balance and vitality.First, focus on ST36, located about four fingerbreadths below your kneecap, on the outer side of your leg. This point is known for boosting your Qi, the vital energy that fuels your body. Visualize a warm, golden light radiating from this point, filling you with strength and vitality.
Next, shift your attention to SP6, found on the inner side of your lower leg, about three fingerbreadths above the ankle. This point nourishes your blood. Imagine a gentle, nurturing flow of crimson energy enveloping you, replenishing and revitalizing your blood cells, bringing life to every part of your being. Remember to avoid this point if you are pregnant.
Now, direct your focus to BL17, located on your back, about one and a half fingerbreadths from the spine at the level of your lower ribs. This point invigorates your blood. Visualize a vibrant stream of energy flowing from this area, spreading throughout your body, energizing your organs and tissues.
Next, turn your attention to KI3, located on the inside of your ankle, in the groove between your ankle bone and the Achilles tendon. This point tonifies your marrow, the source of blood cells. Picture a deep, nurturing energy rising from this point, filling your entire being with strength and resilience.
Finally, focus on CV6, known as Qihai, located a few fingerbreadths below your navel. This point tonifies your energy. Envision a warm, glowing sphere of energy expanding from here, creating a foundation of strength and stability as it supports your overall vitality.
As you visualize these points and their energies, breathe deeply, allowing the warmth and light from each area to flow through your body. Imagine each breath drawing in vitality, nourishment, and strength, while each exhale releases fatigue and tension.
Feel the interconnectedness of these points, working in harmony to restore balance. Allow this experience to settle deep within you, knowing that your body is capable of healing and rejuvenation. Trust in the natural processes of your body, and embrace the energy that flows within you.
