This recipe targets trigeminal neuralgia with SJ5 (Waiguan) to relax tension, ST7 (Xiaguan) to relieve facial pain, LI4 (Hegu) to reduce inflammation, and GB14 (Yangbai) to calm facial nerves. It reduces spasms. Contraindications: Avoid LI4 in pregnancy; use caution with ST7 in facial injuries.

Allow your awareness to gently settle as you focus on the points connected to relieving trigeminal neuralgia.

Imagine the location of SJ5, found on the outer side of your forearm, about two finger widths above the wrist crease. This point, known as Waiguan, is essential for relaxing tension in the body. Visualize a soothing wave of relaxation flowing from this point, easing any tightness and promoting a sense of calm.

Next, bring your attention to ST7, located just in front of the ear, where the jaw meets the skull. Known as Xiaguan, this point is specifically targeted to relieve facial pain. Envision a warm light enveloping this area, dissolving discomfort and restoring harmony to your facial muscles.

Now, focus on LI4, situated on the back of the hand, between the thumb and index finger. This point, called Hegu, reduces inflammation and promotes overall balance. Picture a gentle breeze sweeping through this space, carrying away any swelling and bringing clarity and ease to your face.

Finally, visualize GB14, located just above the eyebrow, on the forehead. Known as Yangbai, this point calms the facial nerves. Sense a soft, nurturing energy radiating from this area, soothing any remaining sensitivity and bringing tranquility to your entire face.

As you meditate, allow this visualization to deepen. Each point interacts harmoniously, working together to alleviate pain, reduce spasms, and restore balance to the facial nerves. Imagine the energy flowing freely between them, creating a network of healing throughout your face.

With every breath, draw in healing energy and exhale any discomfort. Allow this process to unfold naturally, leading you toward a state of perfect balance and well-being. Trust in your body's ability to heal, and let go of any tension as you embrace this serene state of relaxation.
