Focus your awareness on the areas of your body corresponding to the acupuncture points associated with this TCM recipe for bacterial pneumonia.Begin with BL13, located on your back, about one and a half inches from your spine at the level of your lower shoulder blades. Visualize this point as a source of warmth and strength, fortifying your lungs and enhancing your ability to breathe deeply and freely.
Next, shift your attention to LU5, located on the crease of your elbow, on the outer side. Picture this point as a gentle stream, washing away heat and discomfort from your lungs, clearing the cough and phlegm that may be troubling you.
Now, move to LI11, found at the outer edge of your elbow crease, where the arm bends. Envision this point as a cooling balm, reducing inflammation and bringing relief to your entire upper body, easing the burdens of fever and tightness.
Bring your focus to ST36, located about four fingers below the knee, slightly to the outer side. Imagine this point as a reservoir of vitality, boosting your immunity and nourishing your body's defenses, helping you recover and regain strength.
Finally, direct your attention to CV22, situated in the center of your throat, just above the collarbone. Visualize this point as a clear channel, allowing your breath to flow smoothly, soothing your throat and enabling clear communication. Be mindful to approach this point with care, especially if there is any throat discomfort.
As you hold these images in your mind, breathe deeply and evenly. Inhale, drawing in healing energy from each of these points, and exhale, releasing any tension or discomfort. Allow the strength of BL13 to fill your lungs, the clarity of LU5 to clear your throat, the cooling relief of LI11 to soothe inflammation, the vitality of ST36 to empower your immune system, and the openness of CV22 to foster clear expression.
Continue to visualize these points working in harmony, balancing your body and guiding you towards a state of optimal health and recovery. Embrace this process, allowing your breath to deepen, your body to relax, and your spirit to align with this natural healing journey.
