Clostridium tetani: Bacterium Causing Tetanus Symptoms
Clostridium tetani is a bacterium that causes tetanus, a serious disease characterized by muscle stiffness and spasms. It stimulates the nervous system, leading to a hyperactive response in muscles, which can be life-threatening. Common cases of tetanus occur after puncture wounds, especially from contaminated objects like nails. The bacterium thrives in anaerobic environments, often found in soil and dust. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), tetanus may be associated with the Liver and the Gallbladder meridians, as they are related to muscle control and movement. Symptoms might be linked to emotions such as fear or anxiety, which can manifest as physical tension. BioCoherence practitioners may overlay protocols that target the Liver and Gallbladder meridians, as well as TCM points such as Liver 3 (Tai Chong) and Gallbladder 34 (Yang Ling Quan), to help address the effects of this bacterium and its impact on the body.
