Cortisol: Managing Stress and Energy Levels Naturally
Stimulating the Cortisol program supports the regulation of stress and energy levels in the body. Cortisol, often referred to as the "stress hormone," plays a crucial role in response to stress, metabolism, and immune function. TCM points that may be relevant include Kidney 3 (Taixi) and Spleen 6 (Sanyinjiao), known for their roles in nourishing the body and supporting stress management.
Emotional associations with cortisol include feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, and fatigue. Balancing cortisol levels can lead to improved emotional well-being and resilience against stress.
